Established over a decade ago, this multi-award-winning radio station broadcasts from the heart of Marsabit, reaching far and wide across the region, touching lives and bringing about profound change. In a recent interview conducted among listeners in Marsabit town and its surroundings, Mr. Peter Noor, a former police officer turned burglar after losing his job, shared his remarkable journey of redemption. At one point, Mr. Noor found himself on the wrong side of the law, labeled as the most wanted person in Marsabit County for two years. TWR-Kenya hosted a breakfast meeting for bishops, directors, and CEOs from various churches and organizations in Nairobi in March 2024, Among the attendees were Gilbert Kamange, National Director of World Vision; Thomas Tharao, Head of Operations at Bible Society Kenya; Reverend Marombe from the Methodist Church; Reverend Canon Samuel Githaiga from A.C.K St. Joseph Church; and Henry Njagi, Head of Communication at NCCK (National Council of Churches in Kenya). The purpose of the meeting was to create new partners within the church and with like-minded organizations in Nairobi. On the early morning of Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, I arrived at my office at Sifa FM Voi and encountered a middle-aged man seated at the reception area. I greeted him warmly and welcomed him to the station, and he responded with a smile but was silent after that. Curious about his visit, I decided to invite him into my office. Once settled, I noticed he continued to smile, prompting me to greet him again. This time, he explained that he had a hearing impairment and had no hearing device, so he needed me to project my voice for him to hear me clearly.
