John Nambere hails Sifa FM Marsabit in Contributing to his Spiritual Health and Growth.

“Sifa fm Marsabit has been my comfort home for the past 16 years now. From then, it has been years of blessing after blessing; I don’t regret being one of Sifa FM family.”

This is a touching statement from one John Nambere from Karantina village, Marsabit central sub-county, Marsabit County.

The 68 years old, Mzee Nambere narrates how his life took a new shape since he joined Sifa FM family back in 2007.

The father of seven children says he was among the first listener to tune on and make calls when Sifa FM Marsabit started its programming back in 2007. Then it was called Marsabit FM.

“I was among the first persons to listen to Sifa fm’ it was the best feeling ever since it was the first community radio station in the county.”

Furthermore he states that he has been following all the programming from morning to evening, however he enjoys listening to the Swahili and Samburu programs.

Mzee Nambare reveals that he has gained more knowledge about the word of God through the station as compared to back then when the station was established.

I was not spiritually upright back then as compared to who I am now. I remember back then I didn’t have the thirsty of reading the word of God, nowadays frequently I find myself reading the scriptures and also pray something I found to be difficult to do.

He added that he is so proud of Sifa FM Marsabit and congratulated Trans World Radio for making a dream come true for Christians in the county of having a Christian radio station.

“I’m a happy pastoralist, thanks to the TWR Kenya programs for making it possible for us pastoralists to have our very own Christian radio station.”

On the other Hand Nambere urges Sifa fm to expand its frequency to make it easy for all the pastoralists around the county to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

I pray God to open more doors for the company to be able to reach everyone across the county since some parts of Marsabit cannot hear the good news.
