Transworld head of Programs, Mrs. Winnie Amugo travelled to Bungoma to meet pastor Oliver Midenyo who has been an ardent fan of Neno Program.

Midenyo is a pastor with Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) in Sango, Bungoma County in the western part of Kenya. Pastor Oliver has been listening to TWR Kenya programs specifically TTB Swahili locally known as ‘Neno’ since he was a young man in the 90s.

The jovial pastor says that the program shaped his spiritual life from when he was a young Christian.  It is through the program that he started yearning to be a minister of God’s word.  From the lessons in the program, he started a bible study in his church and uses the knowledge he learns from listening to the program to teach members of His Church.

He finished by encouraging his fellow pastors and even Christians to listen to the program for spiritual edification.

Pastor Oliver was gifted with, a bible, ‘Kuza Imani Yako’ books, and a radio as a thank you for being a loyal listener.  Apart from the Neno program, he also listens to other programs  like ‘Asali iwayo’ which is currently airing as Your Health  ‘Afya Yako’ on the Sifa FM network.
