Church Relations Officer Job

JOB DESCRIPTION
Church Relations Officer working under Partnership & Resource Development Department.

 Position: Part-time

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Make regular visits to churches and maintain a rapport between the ministry and Churches.
2. Seek opportunities for TWR to visit various congregations to minister and share about the ministry.
3. Market the various services available to the church through TWR-Kenya and SIFA FM , and opportunity for Pastors/Churches to use the TWR-Kenya platform for their ministry
4. Ability to motivate leaders and their congregations to support mission work.
5. Identify key mission-minded churches in Nairobi and other Counties to partner with TWR-Kenya.
6. Ensure that TWR Kenya/SIFA FM is well known among Churches in Nairobi and areas where TWR broadcasts.
7. Ensure that churches, organizations, ministries, and other Christian leaders are constantly updated on the happenings at TWR-Kenya and together collaborate in ministry initiatives.
8. Help in distribution of Bibles and TWR K devotional.
9. Come up with training manuals and plan for Pastors training and other TWR events.
10. Manage monthly Pastoral letters to Pastors and Church leaders, and monthly text messages.
11. Support the team leader in overall donor communication

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Theology (preferable but not a must), or degree in a related field
2. Ability to deal with people of various denominations and backgrounds.
3. Clear understanding of the great commission and the role of both the Church and TWR in fulfilling the same.
4. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
5. Ability to deal with people of various denominations and backgrounds.
